Public Accounts Committee Feb 2025
The Public Accounts Committee met and heard oral evidence on “fixing NHS dentistry”. Including Prof Chris Whitty and Dr Jason Wong many of the themes are well known to the profession.
It is clear the UDA contract is not fit for purpose and this includes acknowledgement of dentists making losses on NHS treatments, having to subsidise with private work to maintain viable practices.
